A downloadable platform for Windows

We're updating assets at the moment, it'll take a little while to see all of the changes. Please wait.

Controls are WASD or arrow keys! Get moving! For gears, it's 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on when and or if we add more.

Feeling fancy? Why not customize your avatar? You can customize however you'd like!

There will be updates, so it is recommended to have the itch.io app so the latest client can be downloaded for you automatically.

Technical stuff: Playstudio is a cartoonish recreation of old Roblox, however, not entirely,  as it acts more as a "revival" of old Roblox, but not entirely, as it is it's own seperate platform from Roblox. Multiplayer will take at least 4 to 20 seconds to load depending on internet connection of all users. Our servers can currently hold 8 people, as per my understanding, as I didn't code multiplayer.

Install instructions

For Windows, extract "PS_Build_Beta_8.0" or "Main 8.0" and then run "Playstudio.exe" and you're all done! Enjoy.

For Steam Deck users, you can extract the "PS_Build_Beta_8.0" then right-click "Playstudio.exe" and hit "Add to Steam". You will need to then open up Steam, and find "Playstudio.exe" and go into compatibility settings and choose Proton 9.0 or Proton Experimental. Or, if you're willing to get some extra performance, you should look into Proton-GE, which you find a lot of good tutorials for how to install in on YouTube.

Over the next few days, I will be updating the assets in the itch.io page. I have a lot of assets to update, so this will take a while.

Updating...

april fewlz update is here!!!

We're going to have a place where the community can interact with each other. Stay tuned for more information. Hard part is as a single developer is moderating. It will probably be a long time until you'll see an official community.

Codes are here! :)

Anything that predates 8.0 doesn't have multiplayer; those clients are simply for archival purposes; the older clients won't be updated either, well, since they're archived.

We are using Turbowarp's new compiler. We aren't under the Apache license. It is just the compiler's license that is open source. We are closed source.

Hey there! We have a bug where saves say they don't work costume-wise, I can assure you they do work! The system is totally functional and operational.

We're all set for monitization now. This will be implemented soon.

I'm back.

Updates for the next day or so will be a bit slower than usual.

MacOS support has been canceled, it is confirmed to not even work. Linux and Windows will be our main platforms moving on. Super sorry out there to MacOS users. We promise we'll find a workaround soon.

Game is back up.

Found a bug. Going to update it real quickly.

We now have working moderation in usernames. We will blacklist more words in every update. We're back and you can now download the latest version with username support.

Turbowarp's servers are a bit unstable at the moment, there's nothing we can do when the game comes back up in an hour or two and still has problems. Sorry!

We'll be back up in an hour or two.

We're going to be updating username filtering so the game is offsale for a bit. We take moderation very seriously.

I'm temporarily removing HTML and Linux support. It's too much to update at once, Windows will stay. Sorry! I will try to keep archives up. I support Linux gaming all the way, it's just that as an indie developer it's hard to support 3 platforms at once. I promise when 1.0 release comes out, that is when Linux and HTML support will come back, the game is in it's infancy right now, like- we're still in beta, so this will take a few months.
